Wastewater Systems - Domestic and Commercial Systems
All on-site wastewater treatment systems are required by the Councils to have a
service contract with a qualified servicing company.
Hynds Environmental offer a service contract that includes two visits per annum
for domestic systems and three visits for commercial systems. This service
ensures the system is functioning efficiently and fine tunes the system to
ensure maximum performance.
The service includes:

Pump checks and cleaning as required

All filters removed and cleaned

All electronic equipment checked

Vacuuming of any residue in pump and settlement chambers

Sludge check

Flushing of irrigation lines and leakage testing

Suspended solids, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH tests

Water meter reading (if applicable)

Stormwater and Industrial Treatment Applications
The maintenance of stormwater and industrial treatment systems is vital to
their ongoing performance. Hynds Environmental offer service contracts on all
systems which includes cleaning the system and the removal and disposal of all
pollutants. The frequency and cost of maintenance will vary for each system
dependant on pollutant characteristics.
