Hynds 'CleansAll'®
The Hynds 'CleansAll' ® Gross Pollutant Trap simply removes large and small pollutants from stormwater systems. It has been designed to treat large flows in-line or end-of-line and allows only clean water to reach our delicate wetlands and ocean.

Hynds 'CleansAll' ® units will capture 100% of all gross pollutants 3mm and above, at or below the designed treatment flow rate. On average this represents greater than 95% of gross pollutants during all storm events.
The small footprint of the Hynds 'CleansAll' ® makes it an ideal choice wherever stormwater treatment is required. Installation locations include:
  • Streets and roadways
  • Beach and lake front areas
  • Parking Areas
  • New Developments
  • Industrial Facilities.
Six different models are presently available: the 375, 600, 750, 900,1200 and 1350 Series CleansAlls®.

The sizing of a Hynds 'CleansAll' ® is based on the treatment flow rate required.
Removable baskets mean that the maintenance of a Hynds 'CleansAll' ® is safe, quick and simple. A six monthly maintenance of the CleansAlls® is recommended. Hynds Environmental offers maintenance contracts to complete this procedure and ensure compliance with resource consent requirements.

The stormwater flow enters the system via the inlet pipe and is diverted to the collection/treatment chamber. The flow in the treatment chamber moves in a circular motion. Pollutants denser than water settle into the filtration baskets while floatables remain at the water surface. The filtered stormwater passes through the treatment chamber outlet and up through the sediment chamber into the outlet pipe. Flows in excess of the treatment capacity pass over the weir and bypass the system.
