 The Passive Skimmer is a very cost-effective tool for improving the effectiveness of dated BMPs such as Oil/Water Separators. Passive Skimmers can also be incorporated into trench drains, catch basins, sumps, and retention ponds that frequently receive low-level or sheen amounts of hydrocarbons and don't require higher quality water treatment that filtration provides. While deployed, Passive Skimmers are constantly absorbing free floating hydrocarbons they come in contact with. They minimise or eliminate the amount of free floating hydrocarbons within an Oil/Water Separator, reducing the chance of discharging previously captured hydrocarbons and greatly reducing ongoing maintenance costs. |

| INSTALLATION |
| The Passive skimmers are simply placed on the water surface inside either new or existing chambers. They will float on the surface and do not sink, even when saturated with hydrocarbons. They can also be attached to the underside of the lid for easy extraction. |
